Decision Making.

We hardly discuss how hard it is to make decisions that will impact our current and future selves , and because of that we find ourselves in positions where we don't know which steps to take.

Are You Indecisive

Sometimes we find ourselves seeking validation for the choices we make , not because we rely on the opinion of others inorder to take a step but because guidance might be better than blindness.

In this blog we'll cover all types of decision makings , not just the big about "relocating to the next city" , but also about "what to eat after reading this blog" , because truth of the matter is , we spend alot of time being indecisive even when it's about the little things.

When it comes to making decisions that will impact your life , health or even safety , it is very important to ask yourself these questions :

1. What effect will this decision have on the people that are involved?

2. Am I going to benefit from this decision?

3. What areas of my life are going to be impacted because of this decision?

4. Does taking this decision assure me stability for the next 6 months?

5. Are you mentally ready for the change the particular decision is about to bring?

Being indecisive is a character flaw that almost everyone has , some may not realise it , but its definitely there. Sometimes being indecisive is not really a bad thing , because it is in between that moment where you're most vulnerable and most alert , it is within that moment that you're weighing out your options and observing the outcomes of each decision. Some people become so passionate with the decision they are making that they forget to keep their eyes open and take note of the outcomes of that decision.

"Guidance is better than Blindness" , do not be so caught up in making decisions on your own that you develop the pride to ask people that have walked in your shoes for advice and guidance. The best thing you could ever do for yourself in the moments before making a decision , is collect as much advice you can have.

Let's not mistake "taking advice" and "awaiting validation". When you take advice from someone , you are collecting strategies to implement throughout the decision you are to make , when you await validation , you simply say that your decisions are dependent on the views of others. In our generation , its hard to find someone who makes decisions based off of their own perspectives and opinions , 7 times out of 10 , people make decisions based on what's trending or what their friends have to say , which leads to the downfall of many.

In a world where there are so many factors that drive decision making , be steadfast in gaging whether or not that particular decision will have the best outcome.

• Do not seek validation for what you believe will work.

• Do not share you're ideas with everyone , some people may use those opportunities to dim down your light before you even begin to shine.

• Do not be afraid to walk alone , sometimes you need to unpack certain luggage inorder to take flight.

• Once you make a decision , go all in , if it starts to look shaky and not as imagined , work your way around it , and make it work.

Believe in you , and your ability to take the correct steps for yourself. Remember , what may have worked for someone else , may not work for you , and vice versa!
