It's hard to hear to words "healthy habits" without associating them with "vegetables". Which is true , because many of us imagine a healthy lifestyle as a lifestyle that's full of vegetables on every meal ,however even though vegetables contribute to a healthy lifestyle , they arent the only components.
Healthy habits are regular occurring behaviours that are advantageous to our mental and physical health. This simply proves that our daily behaviours affect our mental and physical well-being , more than we actually think , and truth of the matter is , it affects us negatively.
Healthy habits decrease the chances of one having health problems such as diabetes or obesity. These are habits that contribute to a more happier life , as engaging in healthy activities makes us feel confident and increases self esteem , the activities also trigger the happy hormone "serotonin".
When people go through heartbreaks , and begin their self love journey , they choose to pick up healthy habits because they know it will make them feel better about themselves and help ease the pain of the heartbreak. Not only do healthy habits reward you with an amazing physical appearance but they also reward you with a positively charged mind.
Here are some of the habits one can engage in to change their lives , positively
-Be Physically active everyday
-Drink water regularly
-Get enough rest
-Eat more vegetables and fruits
-Spend more time in nature
-Read a book
-Limit your social media intake
-Socialise with friends that add positively to your mindset
-Do healthy things that make you happy on a daily basis.
When you do these things , do them with the Mentality of wanting to be better , rather than wanting to be healthier. Old habits die young , so don't feel less confident because you didn't exercise like you said you would. The ability to try is what kickstarts a habit.
