Teenage pregnancy.

A topic that triggers alot of teenagers , mainly because the situation always hits closer to home whereby either they are, or know some of their peers who have become pregnant. It has become hard to discuss this issue as it has become a norm within communities that seem to celebrate it. However, Is it wrong ?
"Alot of people smoke cigarettes , but it doesn't mean its right to do so , its a dangerous health hazard." Communities have gone from reprimanding teenage pregnancy , to accepting it as a norm. There are multiple reasons behind why Teenage Pregnancy should be given strict reprimands.
1. Pregnant Teen Mom's may lose their life while giving birth
2. The father of the child may deny the child (which leads to the innocent child growing up with a single "young" parent)
3. It disrupts the Teen Mom's Academic life.
4. It disrupts the Teen Mom's social life.
5. Some Teens get kicked out their parents houses and are forced to leave school to provide for their kids
We live in a society whereby almost 97% of the teenagers are raised in homes in which 1 or 2 people have access to social media and searching engines , even without that , the remaining 3% recieve social visits at school from nurses/doctors or adults who were pregnant at a young age , and at these Talks they are given advice of what to do inorder to avoid that , so calling it a mistake , is definitely not a reasonable excuse.
However , "Charity begins at home" , these talks should be had within households and communities as well , calmly , alerting the teenagers of the long term effects of getting pregnant at a young age.It is beyond reasonable doubt that a child is a blessing , regardless of the age that their parents conceived them , but even so , a child brought to existence by a child , is triggering.
If you do happen to have conceived as a teen , and you are reading this article , it's okay , don't feel attacked or depressed , you didn't know better , but now that you do , you'll teach your child what you've learnt. You now have the opportunity , together with family and friends , to raise the child to be the best version of themselves and using them as motivation to prosper within your life as well.
"It takes a community to raise a child". Let's support one another , the worst thing to do to someone who's been judged by the entire society is to turn your back on them , support one another with love and respect.As much as we stand against Teenage Pregnancy , we also strongly stand against Suicide. Continue to be great mom's and great dads to our future Presidents , Doctors and Pilots , and if you haven't conceived yet , our hope is that you'll be wonderful dad's and mother's to your future babies!
