Sure we've all been in scenarios whereby we had money, and the next thing we had none, and then we had money again. It's like a cycle that repeats itself. Sure, as we've heard countless times, the most important way to start using your money wisely is by creating a budget. Yes. A budget helps manage the use of your money better as you are able to articulate just exactly how much you will spend on each one of your expenses. As much as it seems unnecessary to do, drawing up a budget plan will definitely come in handy during the process of you managing your finances as I've heard that writing out what you're set to do helps in getting clarity for your goals and objectives, so unless you have WORD and EXCEL to help you layout a proper format of your graph, get that pen and paper out !

Then set financial goals. Doing this will help you to avoid overspending unnecessarily. In this process, be very realistic about what it is that you want to achieve and not being merely overdecisive to fool yourself. The financial goals you set out should be included in your budget plan. Not only will this help keep track of how you should spend, it will also further instill financial discipline so the next time you know you're going over the limit you feel bad about it.
